Buick was the 4th best selling brand for 1941 - no wonder! The '41's styling was dramatically improved over the previous model. The headlights were enclosed in the fenders for the first time and the new fender lines gave a lower more sleeker look. Furthermore, all reports indicate that these wonderful Buick's matched their sister Cadillac in quality.
And to further irk Cadillac these Roadmasters with,, new for '41, compound carburetion (2, 2 bbl carbs) had more horsepower and were faster than Cadillac. Heck, they were the fastest '41's! Who doesn't love a fat fendered convertible with a red engine named Fireball?
With only 1845 Series 70 Roadmaster Convertibles built in 1941, how many survive? Rare and desirable - you can't beat that!
The example offered here is consigned to us by a prominent collector and clearly shows its loving care.
This BCA Award winner runs down the road like a new '41 with no issues, everything works as intended. Subject to an earlier restoration this Classic still shows very well. The paint, chrome, interior and top are all in excellent condition with only minor flaws here and there.
As a full Classic this remarkable Roadmaster is eligible for CCCA events and tours. Wouldn't you like to be touring in this fabulous Buick?
